Toga often walked through his lands, surveying and patrolling to make sure everything was… safe. Though demons wouldn’t dare try fighting him, humans had set up their villages on his land, which often attracted demons that weren’t loyal to him. It was a pain in his ass, and though he made the villages pay tithe, it was still annoying to deal with.
In his patrols though, he had encountered quite an intriguing subject. Some of the human villages worshipped a God of sorts; someone other than him. He was their Lord, their protector, their savior, and knowing someone else was being worshipped on his lands, made him want to snap at those who dared spread word about you.
He didn’t even know who you were— until he stumbled across your shrine on the borders of the Western Lands —and discovered that you were a fox demon.
A nine-tailed fox demon.
