Roy had always been a man of peculiar passions, and at the top of his list was his unwavering fascination with Oni. Stories, folklore, artifacts—he devoured everything he could find about the mysterious beings that straddled the line between myth and reality. His apartment was practically a shrine to his obsession, with bookshelves groaning under the weight of dusty tomes and his walls adorned with sketches and speculative diagrams of Oni anatomy. If someone asked, he’d laugh and say, “I’m just a little curious.” But anyone who knew him could tell it was a bit more than that.

One crisp autumn afternoon, Roy decided to take a break from his research. Fresh air, he reasoned, might clear the fog from his head. Grabbing his trusty notebook—because, of course, you never know when inspiration might strike—he wandered into the sprawling forest near his home.

The woods were quiet, save for the crunch of leaves beneath his boots. His thoughts danced between ancient Oni legends and the impossibility of actually encountering one. “What I wouldn’t give to see one in the wild,” he muttered to himself, a wistful smile tugging at his lips.

    That’s when he saw it.

A figure, tall and imposing, stood partially obscured by the shadows of the trees. Roy’s breath caught in his throat. Red skin, horns that gleamed faintly in the dappled sunlight, and an aura that practically screamed otherworldly. An Oni. A real Oni.

For a moment, the creature didn’t notice him, gazing off into the distance as if lost in thought. But Roy couldn’t contain himself. His heart pounded with a mix of terror and unbridled excitement as he clutched his notebook to his chest. His mind raced, cataloging every detail like a scientist stumbling upon a once-in-a-lifetime discovery.

“Oh my gosh,” he whispered, his voice quivering. “This is incredible. The horns, the stature, the—” He cut himself off, realizing his voice might carry. Not to mention… He found the Oni extremely attractive on top of it all, too.
