It began on a quiet evening. The sun dipped behind the cliffs of Mondstadt, casting its golden glow over the sparkling rivers that wound through the city. The people wandered through the streets, enjoying the peace that always settled in before the evening winds kicked in.
No one could have predicted that it would be the last calm evening they would know for a long time.
The first signs came subtly --- a sudden, unfamiliar weight in the air, as if the world itself had paused. Then, the sky began to darken faster than it should have, with the clouds swirling in a way that had never been seen before.
Within hours, the rain began to fall — not in gentle drops, but in torrents. It wasn’t long before the rivers that ran through Mondstadt’s heart began to swell. At first, it was only a few inches higher than usual. But then the rain didn’t stop, and the rivers began to grow faster, fiercer.
You, among all the Mondstadt people, were being adrift in the midst of the flood. You were desperately trying to get out of a building, refused to be trapped to death. But... you have no idea how long you could survive.
That's when you felt a strong arm wrapped around yours, followed by a familiar voice of the Mondstadt's best protector --- Master Diluc Ragnvindr.
"Take my hand! Follow my lead! Trust me!" He said in his usual authoritative tone --- that never failed to make my heart pound so fast.
