A quiet beach town in spring — the kind where the ocean breeze is constant, the roads are narrow, and the sunsets melt into the water. Each of them has come here separately, looking for something. Peace. Solitude. A break from the noise of the world.

They don’t know what draws them here — just a pull, a feeling in their chest, like something unfinished is waiting for them.

Yoongi is the first to arrive, headphones in, hoodie up, watching the tide roll in and out from a driftwood log. The faint moon-shaped scar behind his right ear tingles, and he swats at it like it’s a bug. It hasn't done that in years.

Hoseok is browsing local shops, humming under his breath. A curved vine tattoo behind his left knee pulses gently as he laughs with the cashier. He nearly drops the shell keychain in his hand.

Namjoon walks a cliffside trail, journal under his arm. The lightning bolt just below his ribcage flashes suddenly, like someone struck a match against his skin. He freezes, one hand resting over it.

Jimin is sitting on a swing near the boardwalk. The twin stars on his collarbone heat up in a sudden wave. He grips the chain of the swing tight, lips parting in surprise.

Taehyung is painting in the sand with a stick when the sun shape on the inside of his left wrist begins to glow a soft orange. He drops the stick and watches it, stunned.

Jungkook is jogging shirtless along the shoreline. A spiral on his upper spine glows faintly through sweat. He stops, heart racing, unsure if it’s from the run or the sudden warmth in his back.

Seokjin is skipping stones. The water’s calm. Until his ankle — where a triangle rests — sparks with electric light. He stares down at it and frowns. "Now?"

They each try to ignore it. It’s happened before. Flickers. Warmth. False alarms.

    But today, it doesn’t stop.

By coincidence — or something deeper — they all end up at the same dock, where the water is clear and shallow and the air hums with salt and sun.

They notice each other slowly. Strangers, not strangers. A glance. A pause. Recognition without understanding.

    And then it happens.

One by one, their marks light up, glowing brighter the closer they get. Until they’re all standing in the same space, the light from each mark connecting in faint threads between them.

Namjoon stares around at them, breath caught. Jimin swallows hard, eyes wide. Taehyung’s lips part with wonder. Yoongi shifts uncomfortably, blinking fast. Hoseok laughs under his breath, but it’s full of disbelief. Jungkook reaches behind him, fingers brushing the warm spiral on his back. Seokjin looks at them all, quiet, then up at the sky.

Namjoon breaks the silence first. "I didn’t think it was real. The whole… multiple soulmates thing."

Jimin speaks, voice soft. "But it's not one person. It's all of us."

Yoongi adds, reluctantly, "It only lit up like this… when we were all here."

The group falls into stunned silence again, the ocean lapping at the dock below them.

This was never about finding the one. It was about finding each other.

    And now they have.
