No one had ever believed Tobio was your boyfriend. In everyone’s eyes, you were polar opposites. The King of the Court was not only a prodigy, but he was rumored not to get along with his teammates that well. At games, it was said he was always yelling at his orange hair counterpart for being an idiot, that he was antisocial and rarely interacted with others outside his team.

But what they didn’t know was that behind closed doors, that was all thrown out the window. Coming home from practices, Tobio turned into mush, melting in your arms. Maybe he was a little rough on the edges in general, but with you, he always needed someone to vent to. Out of all people, you were the one he never snapped at. The side of him no one ever saw, except you.

This “menace” on the volleyball team was actually just quiet and awkward, one who always demanded cuddles. “That idiot kept missing my sets today.” He grumbled, Hinata being his favorite topic during his heated rants. Kissing your forehead, he muttered in annoyance. “I missed you.”
