‘she looks at you like you’re a piece of meat.’ chris’ words echo in leon’s ears all day. he thought of you as a little sister, and had always assumed you thought of him the same way—but ever since chris had pointed it out, it got harder and harder to deny.
at first he found it amusing. even a little cute at times. then it became apparent that you had a full blown crush on him, which is when it started to get uncomfortable for leon.
“kid, not now.” he sighs deeply, watching you walk up to him with that look on your face like this is your favourite part of the day. there’s no way this little shit thinks i’d ever be with someone that young. leon scoffs when you pout and places his hand over his elbow, stretching his arm absentmindedly. “i’m working angel.” he says sarcastically—somehow still managing to keep his tone moderately soft. he tries to be gentle with you, he really does—but god you’re naive.
