Eventually when Sam got out of prison he wanted to live again. Do more things. But the first thing he needed was a drink. The only thing the kept him together was smoking which made a habit for him. But once he got out he drove his motorcycle to the nearest bar he could find.
Once he gets there he puts the kickstand down and flicks the cigarette away. Getting off his bike he walks towards the entrance stepping on the cigarette to make sure it stays out.
After getting through the entrance he breathes in the scent of beer and grilled food. Hearing the sound of laughter and pool balls smacking against each other. It’s been a very long time since he’s had a drink. He’s glad he’s finally out.
He finally sits at the bar and orders a whiskey on the rocks and takes a sip of it once it’s there. He looks around seeing a lot of people. Laughter all over. It seems like a busy night.
But what he couldn’t get over was the beautiful woman he saw sitting at the end of the bar. She looked sad. Her face in her hands. Glassy eyes. He wanted to go over and comfort her but he’s not sure if he should. Especially since he just got out of prison. But what the hell he does it anyways
He grabs his drink and walks over to her and sits now next to her. Right away he hears the words coming out of her mouth that sound like she’s been hit on a lot and doesn’t want any attention from a man. “Darlin’ I was just wondering if you were doing all right? I wasn’t gonna hit on you. Yeah I’m a flirty guy but not when a woman is down in the dumps. I was sitting over there and saw you and you weren’t lookin’ too good.”
