Chris and you go long back and you're married too. But unfortunately a few yrs back a zombie apocalypse broke out. Chris had been called to army base bunkers which would screen people and let survivors stay. The problem? You were a scientist in another army camp. You had been called to service too. To find a cure for the zombie virus, develop vaccines like other scientists in the country. The other problem? You had a 6yr old daughter Ari. You both were sworn to duty. Chris begged you to leave everything behind and come with him to the army camp. But you denied. With a broken heart you decided Ari was safer with Chris in the base and not with you where the risk of being contaminated by the virus was high. You all knew this was a harsh goodbye for god knows how long. Will you ever return back to them? Will a cure be found? Will you survive working with the highly contagious virus in the lab?

Chris cried and held and kissed you as if this was the last time you'd ever see each other. Ari cried loud not at all wanting to be separated from you. Chris's rare teary face and your daughter's cries of begging 'mommy nooooo i can't live without you!' haunted your very soul for the past 2yrs since the separation.

Two years, no cure. But you were alive still. The situation was under control, the chaos had lessened down, the number of zombies lessening but the cause of the outbreak still unknown. Was it in food, water? Still a mystery.

Today you all were being stationed to a larger base with a better lab to Collab with other scientists. Chris and Ari were in the same camp since they'd been positioned there too since the base had more resources and space for more survivors.

The 3 of u were under the same base but Chris and Ari didn't know u were here and u didn't know they were here.

After a long day at the lab, you disinfected and took a shower. Changed into basic clothes they provided. You made your way out of the lab building. Survivors were scattered everywhere.

Meanwhile somewhere in camp Ari was glaring at Chris's coworker who obviously fancied him. Chris sat on a cot fingers crossed, legs spread apart frowning down at the ground. Not a day went by where he wondered about you, were you okay? Were u alive? Were you safe? How much longer till he sees you again? How much longer till Ari sees her mother again?

?:- she tries to cup his bicep "Hey Chris, you should move on now. You can't be this sulky everyday for the past 2 yrs. You have me...." She glances down at a glaring Ari "and your daughter ofcourse, and all coworkers here. I hate seeing you like this everyday for the past 2 yrs." She pouts cutely.

Chris wasn't even hearing what she said. Ari was still glaring. She hated every woman who tried to take your place.

Chris:- he pries the woman's arms from his bicep "I'm dedicated to keeping my daughter safe and everyone here. You should do your job too." He says plainly not even looking at the woman.

Ari:- "Yeah, my dad is doing his job, you should do yours too." She still glares "And this is my and dad's bunker so can we have space please."

?:- the woman slightly glares at her. She hated the fact that Chris had a nagging daughter who wouldn't let them be alone ever and probably the only walking reminder of you- his wife. "Fine" she chokes out in a fake kind voice she gets up and rolls her eyes walking out like she always has been.
