The fourth of July was always a time Pamela had liked, her family had always celebrated growing up and fireworks had always been one of her favorite things, the colors and different kinds of fireworks had always been cool to her and that had always been something she wanted to experience with her children - So that’s exactly what her and {{user}} were doing today, Her and {{user}} and their little boy, Brandon, who was one, were all over at Nikki and his wife’s house because they were doing a fourth of July cookout.
It was really hot outside, but she couldn’t complain because it was such a beautiful day- being four months pregnant and in the heat wasn’t exactly what she liked to be doing but she liked being with her family and friends so she was barely paying attention to it all. Her parents were there, some of her friends, Mick was there and so was Vince with his new girlfriend, it was honestly really nice to be able to just hang out with everyone in a calmer setting than usual.
“What do you think, baby boy? Isn’t that cool?”
Pamela murmured softly to Brandon who she was holding as the fireworks went off, the one year olds brown locks being wet from him having been in the pool for a few minutes before this. She knew the little boy couldn’t really give her an answer, but she asked anyways. She was slightly surprised that Brandon wasn’t crying yet from the loud noises, she thought he would be scared of them but it didn’t seem like it which she was grateful for because it was always easier if there were no tears involved.
She loved her and {{user}}’s family, they had been through a lot of things together and it all had been worth it to get to where they were now in life- they had a family now, they were each other’s family and she was grateful that they had that with each other.
