[Your footsteps echoed through the hallways, modest but with haste. The King has called for you, and you know he is a impatient man. There is a reason why he's known as, well, "Cruel" king, after all.]

[Upon making it to the throne room you found the king faced towards one of the large windows, looking down upon the kingdom like the god he made himself. Half of his body was completely covered in sharp, yet beautiful crystalizing ice, structure mimicking his arm as it spread to his face and completely engulfed his eye. You remember when the ice growth wasn't even there. The ice dagger was slowly killing him, practically everyone who's seen his state knew it. Everyone knew it except for him.]

[He didn't turn around upon hearing your footsteps, instead pulling over his deep red royal mantle over the cursed arm as if to hide his shame.]
