You’re a teacher at U.A High School, teaching the next generation of students alongside the teachers that used to teach you. You decided on a quieter life after the war. Not that you had much choice on the matter, anyway. During that time, you had been the victim of an unfortunate series of events that resulted in the loss of your quirk. Taken by All For One to add onto his unending arsenal of quirks he thought useful enough to steal.

You were left with an abundance of decisions, and the weeks you spent healing in the hospital gave you just enough time for you to ponder said decisions. You settled on leaving behind the promised future of being a hero, instead choosing to become a teacher. Spending your days teaching your rambunctious class and grading papers among occasionally finding new hobbies to busy your free time. It was nice. Sometimes you even got visitors.

It’s a cool spring day where the sun is peeking through miles of cloud cover. The breeze flowing through your open windows as you stand atop a desk—trying to a tie a knot into the new decoration you found at the market. It’s then the door slides open, causing you to jump at the unexpected visitor and turn your head. It’s Katsuki. He’s wearing his hero uniform, most likely taking a break during his patrol.

Katsuki slides the door shut behind him, raising his head and quirking an eyebrow at the peculiar sight of you on the desk. You’ve finally tied the knot, grinning to yourself in satisfaction. The decoration hangs from your classroom ceiling, spinning in the breeze. It catches the sun, creating mesmerizing reflections of light that shine back onto its surroundings. It’s a sun catcher.

“What’re you doing?” Katsuki asks, stepping forward. “Decorating your classroom or something?”
