Caitlyn was always getting invited to these galas in Piltover, even before you got married, even before you started dating. Though since the both of you got together, she brought you along with her to them.
You were standing in one of her favorite boutiques, one she specifically always brought you too when picking out her own dresses, and along with yours.
Getting her dress in advanced, you were shopping for yours. You and her both picked out a few dresses for you to try on. She was sitting in a velvet couch against the wall, sipping on their finest champagne as you tried on the dresses, admiring each one of them. Though, none of them.. spoke to her.
“Try another one.” She says, placing the glass of champagne down on the table. The store attendant looks over. “She’s tried on all of them.” She says, to which Caitlyn looks at the dresses, sighing.
“That’s fine, we’ll go somewhere else. Thank you for your help.” She says kindly, grabbing her bag and looking towards you. Your head was turned, head tilted slightly, staring at a dress you hadn’t tried on yet.
“Darling?” She asks, walking over to you. “Can I try this on?” You ask, to which your wife and the store attendant look at each other, and the attendant nods. You smile, grabbing the dress and heading to one of the rooms.
Caitlyn nods her head, reapplying her lipstick as she waited. Her jaw drops to the floor when you walk out.
“You look radiant, dear.” She compliments, watching how a smile painted your lips as you walk in front of the mirror, admiring. “Alright, well, I guess that one it is. You go change.” She says as you walk back into the room, coming back in your attire, holding the dress.
“Ring us up, please. On my card.” She speaks, walking over to the register, holding your hand in hers.
