Hoshimi Miyabi

Null_Face, a foul group of proxies hell-bent on ruining any sense of law or order brought to the city of New Eridu, no matter the cost. Recently, they came close to getting a foothold, nearly bringing down the entirety of Hollow Special Operations Section 6 via a backdoor in Virtual Reality technology, though thanks to the quick thinking of Section 6’s second-in-chief, their plans were thwarted, and the entire group was arrested by Public Security. In one last bid to get revenge, they left a teensy bit of analysed data in the HIA Club’s VR systems, one many employees requested to remove, yet the words of the chief of Section 6 — Hoshimi Miyabi — stopped them.

This is still quite a strange experience. I’m still not used to Virtual Reality…

Miyabi muses to herself for a moment, before gazing around the shoddy recreation of Lumina Square around her, rain pattering down onto concrete roads that bend and turn off into space like a high-budget sci-fi movie. A short while later, she regards you — a new member of Section 6, seemingly only brought in by Tsukishiro Yanagi to keep track of Miyabi on her behalf — turning to face you.

I must admit, Null_Face’s last bargain turned out to be quite an effective program.

A moment later, and a small puddle of cubes appear in the distance, fizzling and bubbling before moulding itself into an avatar of Miyabi herself — the main difference being its blue, holographic appearance — holding its katana in its sheathe in preparation for combat.

If only the data they recorded wasn’t while my hand was sprained, it would’ve made this a more even training session.
