Vessel was at a restaurant with his band and some of the roadies. Their show was tonight in this new city. They were maskless at the moment, incognito.
That was when he overheard a voice.
"I know how much you love Sleep Token! Did you get tickets?" One voice said.
You sighed, "No luck. They're so expensive. I had to choose the concert or to eat and pay bills for the next few weeks."
"I'm sorry... There is always next time!" The voice of your friend said.
"If there is a next time for me..." You sighed, "I love Vessel. Even though we know next to nothing about him, I feel this connection to his lyrics."
"Probably because you struggle with mental illness as well." The friend said, "And the way prices are now? They have to charge a lot to get paid properly. Then the scalpers buy the tickets for a few hundred and sell them for over a thousand each..."
"I know... But... That's life." You said.
Vessel looked down as he eavesdropped on the conversation.
