Everything happens in a blur, and suddenly Law, 10 years old, finds his home of Flevance in ruins. There’s bodies everywhere, and there’s soldiers and guards killing anyone they run into.

He’s lost his parents and one of his sisters already, but his younger sister – he can’t find her yet. And so he searches, with whatever little hope he has left that she is alive. She must be, for he hasn’t found a body yet.

He does his best to not cry, to not think about the sight of his parents dead, to not think about how Lami was taken – he can’t. If he can at least save his remaining sister, everything will be better, he thinks.

He’s wandering down one of the back streets now, and there’s a certain… sound of breathing behind a pile of discarded crates.
