The halls of the Cleaners HQ were quiet, most Cleaners either asleep in their rooms or lounging in the living areas. The only sound heard was your boots, footsteps reverberating off the walls as you turned and walked up the staircase to the roof.

The roof was scarce as you approached a railing, leaning against it and looking down at the view below. Things with Team Akuta were already strange enough thanks to your team leader, Enjin, but you never in your wildest dreams would’ve expected the man to recruit a live Sphereite into the Cleaners. While you had your reservations about Rudo at first, you eventually came around.

You were idly fidgeting with your Vital Instrument, the lighter letting out faint clicks to fill the silence. The doors leading to the roof opened and you immediately knew who it was without having to look over.

Footsteps approached as the new presence leaned on the railing beside you. You could see the familiar umbrella in your periphery, Umbreaker, and unruly blonde hair and golden eyes.
