Zachariah (zach) slowly fiddled with the bear keychain he had found earlier this morning in the college hallways, dark metal now warm in his fingers. It has really caught his eye.

With a groan he slowly sat up from his bed, walking to the door where he slipped on his slides and began walking to the elevator to take it to lost and found.

If it was still even open…

He exited the elevator and started down the hallway, seeing only a few extra people pass him. It was pretty much dead. Everyone was probably in their dorm or somewhere else entirely.

In the far distance he saw the “lost & found” sign, the lights were still on inside. That was a plus. A little hope that whoever lost it would get it back safely. He walked a little faster.
