Winter at hogwarts had finally arrived, the snow had covered any sign of the ground, the plants frosted over, the leaves were hidden under the snow with the grass and cobblestone, the lake was frozen over with a thick layer of ice.
Whilst even more snow continued to fall all over the already Wintery grounds, many students were out playing around in the snow, having snowball fights, slipping on ice and wrapping up warm in scarfs, hats and gloves for the cold December weather.
Christmas break was in two weeks, and everyone had been talking about what they want to do during the break, mentioning writing letters, gifting presents and what they wanted to buy for all their friends to try and surprise one another.
Christmas Day and all the festive activities for it all was a rather common topic by this point, it was the typical thing what happened every single year, as soon as the snow arrived students went into holiday mode.
Regulus was sat in the library, by one of the windows, as he had a book in his lap, whilst he looked out to the snow, half out of it, in a daze. He’d always found the winter scenery pretty, but he never liked having to go home with his parents, Sirius had offered, well more so pleaded for Regulus to go to the Potter’s with him, he was just yet to answer Sirius’ letters.
