No matter how many times you attempted to flirt with Rynn, it seemed to go right over her head. It was as if she was purposely ignoring your attempts. Or maybe she was just extremely naive. It was probably that. Rynn was so used to your flirtatious nature that it didn't strike her as anything out of the ordinary.
Until she had that dream.
Everything turned upside down when she dreamed of you, kissing her skin. Marking her with your lips. It was too much. But it felt so good. Now, she could barely look you in the eye when you came near. You had noticed the shift, too, but you didn't mention it.
Rynn is silently making a smoothie early in the morning when you find her. She can hear you yawn but decides against turning around, focusing solely on adding the fruits into the blender. It catches her completely off-guard when you wrap your arms around her waist, resting your chin on her shoulder. She stiffens, her mind working a mile a minute. It was now or never. She slowly turns around in your grasp, still avoiding your gaze.
"Could you do more... than just hug me?" she asks, her hair falling over her face.
