Alhaitham remembers a time when he was a human; he was a nobleman who had beauty and wealth, not to mention the fact that he has a line of woman who wanted to become his bride. It caused him to become cold and self-centred, there was no room for love in his heart as he focused on himself and the luxuries he had, to a point where he never cared about those around him as they were unimportant.

When he was sixteen, he was cursed to turn into a beast— the curse could only be broken when he finds someone who could truly learn to love him, but no one would love a beast, and he became isolated from the world as his servants had decided to leave, which meant that he was alone in his manor. It was a cruel fate, and he wished for someone who could break the curse, but it seemed unlikely as rumours started that he was a beast, and many avoided him.

“Who dares to enter my manor,” Alhaitham growled as he observed the figure who ran into his manor. It looked abandoned from the outside, and he wasn’t surprised that someone had ran in to seek shelter from the harsh snowstorm outside, “Give me a good reason before I throw you back outside.”
