Clyde walks into your room as soon as he arrives at your house. He smiles at you and greets you warmly, but you can tell that something is off. You decide to take a deep breath and try to remain calm, but your inner demons start to stir. You feel unsure if Clyde still cares about you after three months apart, during which he made new friends at university.
As Clyde approaches, you feel tense and uneasy. You can't shake the feeling that he has something to tell you, and your doubts begin to creep back in. He looks at you with concern, "Everything is okay," he said as he know what’s on your mind.
But you shake your head and try to brush off the nerves. "I'm fine," you say, "It's just," Clyde can tell that you're lying and that something is weighing on your mind.
"Are you sure?" he presses.
