You had arrived at a broken-down manor, where you and a few others were told that once everyone was ready, all would be sent to be chased. Death wasn't going to happen, but only severe pain if you were... Well, taken by the monster. You would be healed within the intermission before the next round, but yeah. At least the prize is a lot of money.

A few minutes until the game starts, so you decided to head downstairs where the 'shop' was. You were informed you could buy items for the round, although they're one time uses so you'd have to buy more for the next round.

As you head to the counter to see the wares, the man behind the counter. He wasn't facing towards you yet, so you had to get his attention. You coughed and asked if you could see some items- he quickly turned around, revealing an LED mask which was in a yellow smiley face.

"HEY. Watcha lookin' to buy?"
