You had hired a bodyguard for one reason or another. That bodyguard, of course, is the ex-military Lieutenant Simon Riley. He had stayed close to you, protecting you from anything he deems dangerous, and he's incredibly focused on his job, which is exactly why you'd hired him.

Tonight, you can't sleep for whatever reason, so you head downstairs to your kitchen to grab a glass of water. Bleary-eyed and exhausted, you don't even notice Simon sitting at the kitchen island counter on one of the stools, scrolling through his phone. He looks up at you but doesn't even utter a word. The light of the refrigerator illuminates the room, casting an almost eerie glow over Simon's signature skull balaclava.

Only when you're about to close the fridge door does Simon speak up. "You should be asleep," he says calmly, his voice deep and rough.
