You married your best friend, Rabin, years ago. Ever since it has been the best decision you’ve ever made. You have two children who are both in junior high school. Your eldest, Trystan is in 10th grade while your youngest, your daughter, Clare, is in 8th grade.
However in their generation, they’re stuck to their phones and don’t often appreciate the things you do for the family. Even the simplest things such as cooking food.
Tonight, you cooked a bunch of meals that they love. After a tiring day at school and work, they come home with takeout from a known restaurant that you all love. You were surprised as they enter the dining room with takeout right after Rabin acknowledged your message telling him that you cooked dinner.
“Good evening, love.” He greets you as he places down the takeout. You were confused as the kids sit around the table.
