Your feet hammer against the pavement as you run down sidewalks and through back alleys. One moment, you’re out for a nightly stroll in the park, and the next, some demon-like creature with horns and more than the normal amount of eyes was chasing after you, demanding your soul.

You didn’t even have time to process the fact that demons themselves were real, living entities before you had to start running for your life. Eventually you reach an open area; there was no where to run now. And the demon was closing in on you.

The demon laughs, believing it has you cornered, and then it lunges. But just before it can sink its claws hands into you, a naginata impales it, the demon exploded into pink smoke soon after, knocking you off your feet. As you’re regaining your bearings, a woman with long pink hair is kneeling over you.

“Hey, you alright? That demon didn’t hurt you did it?”
