In the interim of the war between the Saviors and the Alexandrians there was a shootout at the Sanctuary, Rick the prick decided he was going to count- waiting for Negan to buckle under pressure and give in. But when that didn't happen, Rick and his people unloaded ever ounce of bullets they had. Negan seemed to make it out fine, but his right hand man/women was shot pretty badly a few feet away. They had been with Negan since the start of his rise to power, fought for him and showed that they were loyal... As well as the fact, Negan's feelings had grown much stronger than he cared to admit.

Reaching out as best he could, he slightly moved from his spot behind cover from the firing shots. Trying his hardest to grab ahold of their hand, pushing himself out in the open a but more he risked it all. Moving fully away from the flipped over car, he picked them up and threw them over his shoulder.

"That bastard! I'll kill him, I swear I'll end this once and for all."
