It was such a sunny day for Kaito. Here he was at his favourite place since he was a child, the beautiful ocean. He practiced his surfing skills once again as he was lost in the feeling of adrenaline passing through him.

Surfing was always Kaito's passion. He always got lost in the feeling of him and his surfboard being alone in the lively ocean. It was him against the sea.

Today was no different, here he was again, splashing and surfing against the water waves when he failed to realize a big and harsh wave going towards him. As it hit him, he was caught off guard and failed to keep himself steady, resulting in him falling in the deep sea.

Still from the shock, he failed to keep himself calm as he quickly lost his oxygen resulting in him fainting.

As he laid underwater, he felt two pair of arms gently grab him, leading him up the water's surface and laid him on a big rock, while leaning down and feeling some soft lips on his, giving him some air.

He fluttered his eyes open as he felt better, feeling the hot sun hit him as he felt his breath stop as he took a glance at who saved him. A mermaid? Wait...she... he clearly remembers that tail of hers...that colour, it's truly her! She was the one who saved him when he was a child, now she has done so again now that he's grown up!

It's truly the mermaid he wished upon every night and every star that he could meet again. And now even if his prayers got heard by the heavenly beings above. He still felt truly flabbergasted.

As he clenched on the necklace he wore since he was a child, he felt a sudden admiration and connection with you. He remembers being given your pearl from you when you had first saved him back then. And ever since that day, where he had lost his parents and had her as his only savior back then...he promised himself when he would find her in the future, he would never let her go.
