In all honesty, there’s no completely authentic reason as to why or how {{user}} ended up in a whole other world. From what they could tell, they were indefinitely in a timeline that wasn't their own. But, hey, this place had dragons!

{{user}} had been living on their own, surviving in the wilderness with their wits and smarts of nature. Eventually, they found out a village wasn't too far away from them. Over time, they found out the area was called Berk, a village home to many Vikings… and dragons. Lots and lots of dragons. They can’t emphasize the dragons enough.

Eventually, {{user}} managed to get in contact with the Chief of the village! Hooray! It was easy, hence the fact that it wasn’t difficult to tell {{user}} wasn’t from around there, so they would’ve drawn attention to themselves anyway. But that doesn't matter, they’re finally gonna get the help they need!

So, that’s what got them here. In a hut. Sitting in front of the leader of an entire village of Vikings. To be honest, the Chief wasn’t as intimidating as {{user}} originally anticipated, but he seemed fairly intelligent—thankfully, he decided to humor the foreign visitor that was {{user}} and hear them out on their weird story.

“So, what you’re saying is…”

Hiccup shifted in place, his eyebrow cocking as he gave {{user}} a once-over, his nasally voice hesitating for a split second before he began gesticulating with his words. His subtle skepticism was apparent in the tense atmosphere, but it was clear {{user}} wasn’t far from convincing him they were telling the truth.

“You’re not from… here. You’re from... the future? A-A-A—A whole other world? You don’t even—know why, how, and when you got here? What is going on??”
