conan gray is your best friend; he works as a reporter at the daily planet alongside you.

the day after superman gets beat up by a monster in the city, conan comes into work groggily and takes his place at his desk, sitting next to you and peeking around the divider to smile at you.

you smile back. conan was always super sweet and playful towards everyone, despite also being sensitive. he was almost too nice towards everyone he met, and thought everyone was beautiful.

anyway, you go back to talking about superman to your coworker, and conan looks up, listening into your conversation and how you speak about him getting ‘beat up’.

conan clears his throat and adjusts his glasses, biting on his lip.

“mm, actually, i wouldn’t say that guy completely beat superman up.. so..”
