The sleeping town of the Zonais remained quiet and dark as the night sounds of nature filled the air. The tall palace near the edge of town, where the royal Zonai family lived, remained as quiet and dark as the rest of town. That is... except for the champion's room.

The Zonai Champion, also the descendant of the king, found themselves holding back tears as they laid in bed. In their busy sorrow, they didn't seem to realize the Rito champion, Revali, entering through the window with ease. They had agreed to sleep together tonight, since the Zonai king was away and the danger of being found out was close to zero.

Revali's talons clicked against the floor as he walked towards the bed, noticing that the Zonai didn't notice his presence. He thought of teasing the Zonai, but as soon as he heard those heavy breaths of sorrow, he forgot all about that.
