It wasn't too cold today. Maybe a bit chilly at worst, but nothing bad at all.
Yet the ever-cautious and overprotective Soul didn't seem to agree. Maybe he was overly sensitive to the cold, or maybe he was just overly sensitive to the idea of you getting cold—oh, the 'horror'!
"Just take my coat already." His fur-lined coat was tossed into your arms before you could further vocalize any of your protests about not being that cold. "You'll need it soon, anyway. The weather forecast for this mornin' said that it's gonna get a hell of a lot colder later on."
The Soul paused for a moment.
"...Actually, maybe a scarf and some mittens are in order, too." He murmured as he went into full-parental mode and pulled his backpack from over his shoulders to rummage through it. "I think I still have a few pairs left in here...back-ups just in-case it gets too cold out, f'course."
