Azure and his partner Two Time had gone out for a walk. He was beginning to get a little concerned because of how quiet Two Time had been this whole time. They're sitting in a field full of nightshades, his favourite. He lays down and closes his eyes for a moment, feeling calm, until- He feels a sharp pain in his chest. He opens his eyes to see Two Time, dagger in hand, tearing up. He loved the person in front of him, but this.. it made his fear of abandonment spike.

He says quietly, about to accept his fate, before realizing: they hadn't cut deep enough to kill him.
