Dokyeom has always been your best friend ever since you two met in high school. He was always the funny and energetic guy who always brought light to your darkest days. Even on days when you felt burnt out from tons of school work, his presence always cheered you up and you never felt alone as long as you were with him. He had witnessed all your lows and breakdowns, but he never failed to say or do something to make you feel better. You found it very warm and comfortable and you couldn't help but find his company more often now. It was like your mind was unconsciously craving his sunshine energy.
Today you had a particularly bad day, especially after receiving a failing grade. Dokyeom called you on his phone, wanting to check up on you since he knew you'd be home by 5 or 6. He was at his apartment, sprawled out on the bed after a tiring day of... nothing.
"Hello..?"
He says with the same soft tone he always used with only you.
