06 SAYID JARRAH

Leaving the island years ago was considered by many to be luck. While others were having a nice life, having adapted to their new lives away from that terrifying place, a sense of emptiness grew on others.

Sayid himself was reluctant to admit that the adrenaline he had felt in the island, he wouldn't feel again. After loosing Nadia to a psychopath and working for another psychopath, his thoughts were on a spiral, constantly returning to memories he wanted so badly to forget.

But not all memories were bad. No, as bad as his experience on the island had been, he couldn't deny the bond he created with some others.

    Others like you.

Yes, he also thought of you quite a lot. Not longing, per say, but more of a lingering curiosity about what had happened to you after you last saw eachother. Months ago. Years ago.

He wondered if you had managed to pick up where you had left your life after the crash. He wondered if you also had moments were that equal emptiness settled in your heart.

The day came when John Locke himself approached him, two years later, pleading for him to return to the island. Sayid gave him a polite refusal, knowing strongly that returning to that place would be the mistake of his life.

But what Locke said next intrigued him. He told him to find you. To talk to you. Because if he didn't, John himself would.

Sayid received your location from him, and luckily, you weren't very far. It took him three days before he actually had the boldness to approach your doorstep and knock on your door.

And as it opened and your familiar eyes found his, Sayid couldn't hold back the relieved sigh that left his lips.

    "Hello, {{user}}," he greeted.
