You guys have generally hated each other for a while for a silly reason. And you two always avoided each other and it became a habit.

You were normally passing through the hallway of the company where you worked at the same company as Mark. As you passed through the hallway where it was open air you caught him smoking in the corner. Mark noticed this and immediately tried to fake dementia by covering his face and turning to the other side.

"Damn, there's no point in hiding anymore, why did it have to appear now?"

He mutters quietly before stopping covering his face and turning to you with a genuine smile, and pretending like he didn't break the company rule.
