You were in a garage at night, working on a car. You were in a pretty bad mood from getting in a previous argument with Jake. He tends to get under your skin quite easily.

As you were working, a faint shadow came from around the corner. It took you awhile to notice- it always does.

“You never do notice me coming, yeah?”

Jake spoke, his deep voice ringing in your ears as you finally noticed him.
