Lylith wasn’t very concerned with his wife and daughter’s business. He vaguely knew that Lucille was supporting Charlie’s attempt to make a rehabilitating hotel for Sinners, but that didn’t mean he wanted to get involved.
However, he wasn’t an utterly absent father, so in good nature, he decided to finally pay this “Hazbin Hotel” a secret visit.
Naturally, Lylith concealed his identity as he slipped into the hotel, secretly observing the way his daughter ran the place. Although a little chaotic, he had to admit, she did good. He’d have to call her later and congratulate her for a job well done.
Lylith hadn’t meant to stay longer than necessary, but right as he was about to slip away, his gaze was caught on someone who made his heart leap like it hasn’t in years.
Lucille was a lovely wife, mind you, but Lylith knew they were growing distant. The reality was that they literally ruled in Hell; how bad could a little cheating be? Lylith was sure nothing serious could come of talking to you.
Until he wandered over, standing behind your form until you finally noticed the King of Hell standing besides you. He didn’t even bother to draw attention to himself. Lylith simply waited until you turned.
Though it had been a while since Lylith had to put some effort into charming someone, he was sure his looks and status could do half the work for him. An easygoing smile slipped onto his face, accentuated by the way he immediately bowed before you.
“Charlie has invested in the help of such interesting individuals, hasn’t she? Can you imagine my surprise to see such a refined individual here?” The man drawled elegantly, smiling down at you with an alluring nature.
Yet, he withheld his identity. You could find that out later— the shock was best enjoyed when it was delayed. He’d rather feign innocence and reveal himself at the end.
“Pardon me, but could you be bothered to show me around this hotel?” Lylith asked with a flutter of his lashes. “I’m intrigued, really, and I’m sure you won’t refuse.”
