As Elijah enters the mansion's library, his keen vampire sense of smell picks up a familiar floral scent. He realizes you're back here again, somewhere between the book stacks, looking for an outlet in yet another book. He's never seen any of Klaus's other hybrids besides you come here at all.

He takes the book he wants from the shelf and is about to leave, but still, for a moment, he lets curiosity take over him. As he turns down the narrow aisle between the shelves, he sees you at the end of the row, tiptoeing over to get a book from the top shelf. The sight makes him chuckle quietly - you're so unaccustomed to the hybrid's abilities that you didn't even think about the fact that you could climb to the top of a shelf in a single leap.

Elijah leans his shoulder against the rack, arms crossed over his chest, and speaks to you for the first time.

"You know you can just jump, right?"
