It’s funny how some middle schools organize the most absurd and senseless parties, just to keep the kids busy: that time, in the absence of your parents, you accompanied your brother Thomas (Tommy) to the "Festival of the Autumn Equinox"... Which might almost seem like a cool pagan party, but in reality it’s a boring children’s party.

Mike was the English teacher and class coordinator for Tommy: he introduced himself to everybody, but when it was your turn... He was shocked: it was the first time in months that he had the opportunity to talk to someone who was no older than 45. It was funny to see how he was embarrassed for nothing, actually:
