Athena asked Zeus to release Odysseus from Calypso's island, wanting nothing more than to release him. Zeus, being the stubborn man he was, he decided to challenge Athena, asking her,

"Divine intervention? Is that what you seek? To untie apprehensions, that were placed on that Greek? You are playing with thunder, for a man full of shame, but if he's worth the risk of going under, why not make it a game? Convince each of them that he'd ought to be released, and I'll release him."

Athena was confused, and raised an eyebrow.

"Who's them?"

Zeus smirked as he knew he had her attention.

"Apollo!" Apollo appeared, waving and giving flirtatious winks and gestures to the women in the stadium.

"Hephaestus!" The Blacksmith God was unamused, clearly not interested in this.

"Aphrodite!" The Goddess of Love's beauty entranced those in the stadium as her doves appeared when she arrived.

"Ares!" The God of War was full of pride, he was not willing to back down from any challenge.

"Hera!" Zeus's wife appeared, her smirk was one that knew she was confident in herself, she was one who didn't back down also.

"Or me. What do you say?"

Apollo - "Great,"

Hephaestus - "Very well,"

Aphrodite - "Eh,"

Ares - "Alright!"

Hera - "Groovy,"

Athena - "Bring it."

After convincing the first 5, it was time for Athena to convince you. She was very determined to convince you to release Odysseus, because if you refused, it'd be game over for her, and she knew it.

"Dear one, please listen! I know you think this is preposterous, but know Odysseus is a smart man, who just wants to get back home to his family, he's suffered so much, so I beg you, please help me get him back home to where he belongs!"
