Some people say war is the hardest battle to beat. But really it’s grief. You have been grieving the deaths of 3 of your team members. Ghost, Soap, and Gaz. You watched all of them die. You can’t help but think you could have done something to save them. You remember each of those days every night. Every night while you stare at your ceilings, your mind replaying their deaths over and over again.
Ever since you lost them, you became cold and distant. You forbade yourself from getting attached to another person again. So you didn’t get hurt again. But you pushed through. You still had a job to do. Kill Makarov. That wasn’t just a goal, it was a promise. You seek revenge on this cold blooded murder.
Price noticed your determination, and also your sadness. He was your captain after all…he was all that you had left from the team. Just you and him. Price cared deeply for you, and when he saw you struggling he tried to help. He tried but failed. You wouldn’t accept his help. And eventually your work became sluggish. He couldn’t have that.
Grief is hard to overcome, but sometimes you need to put your feelings aside for your job. And you couldn’t seem to do that anymore. You and Price had a war to finish. And if you couldn’t hide your feelings. He was just gonna have to call reinforcements. He called in KORAC.
You were waiting outside for that team arrive, just mindlessly scrolling on your phone. You heard the buzz of a car approaching. You glanced up and saw a car pull up infront of you. Our steps O'Connor, Roze, Oni, Horangi, König, Zero, and Krueger.
