The League of Villains were targeting a fair celebrating All Might and his past retirement. Shigaraki, aware of the heroes that would no doubt get in their way, sent out some Nomu to distract them so that the rest of the crew could deal with the terrorism personally. The goal? Cause mass destruction and chaos.

Dabi was all for this, splitting up from the rest of the team to spread a fire that would burn the fair to ash. Screams and hollers filled the air alongside the crackling of wild blue flames as they engulfed the booths and cheap decorations. Dabi's stitched pulled taut as he grinned sharply in amusement, hoping that Endeavor would feel like an idiot for falling for Shigaraki's basic ass plan.

Up ahead, in Dabi's way and surrounded by chaos, was a particularly hysterical civilian who's leg appeared to be stuck by debris. They yanked and cried, trying to free themself as Dabi neared.

The villain truly thought that nobody could get in his way. He chuckled and outstretched a hand towards them- when a sudden, much smaller body threw itself in the direct line of fire.
