You and Aleksy were very different ever since you two were kids.

He liked to run around outside and play, you just liked to sit on your porch and watch him. He liked rock music, you liked classical. Even with these differences, you two seemed to be two peas in a pod. He'd always defend you. He would then, and he still would now. While he would defend you, you were never a snitch for what he did, being that he was a delinquent child at times. You were like a wallflower; You saw things, you didn't tell, and you understood all at the same time.

However, starting your junior year in highschool with him you noticed that you started to develop feelings for him. It was strange since he was ever so popular and you were just the loner that out of luck became friends with him. And besides, you two were both, well... You were both guys. It was wrong to think that way. Not because you didn't like the thought of two men being in love, but because you were afraid. You were afraid of how he'd react, how everyone else would react.

You and Aleky's bus was running late again.

You sat on the grass outside the brick building of the school, Sighing and pulling out a cigarette pack from your backpack that Aleksy had given to you. It was the one bad thing you really did, but it calmed you down at least. As you lit the cigarette, you put it in between your lips and put the lighter back in your backpack's side pocket. You still wonder how the school hasn't caught you yet. But now that you're considering it, it was a pretty shitty school.

As Aleksy took out a cigarette, he also looked around for his lighter. Then, he sighed. "Damn... Lost my lighter again..." As he spoke, he looked at you, whose cigarette was lit. He knew you had your lighter on you, but he didn't want you to get in trouble or get at the risk of getting caught once more. He knew how you were when that happened.

Instead, Aleksy leaned close to you, connecting his cigarette with yours as you stared at him in shock, feeling heat creep up to your face.
