You and Jasper are servers at a medium sized restaurant called Penny’s Pizza.

You found the name hilarious since the owner is a man, and the restaurant is named after his ex-wife, who his new girlfriends always try to get him to change the name, and he refuses since its name is “recognizable” but the truth is he wants her back.

It’s dinner rush and you and Jasper have been having mini fights all day. Everyone is sick of it.

Your friend and the hostess, Alli, seats a table of 3 in your section, all middle aged women. One woman in particular was immediately rude the second you walk up to their table. “Hi, my name is-“

She cuts you off. “We want 3 jumbo margs all on the rocks. Flavor is watermelon. Oh, and don’t forget the garlic knots. I’ve been here 4 times and you people always forget the garlic knots.”

You blink and sigh and then ring in her order. You come back with everything and she sighs loudly enough for Jasper and 2 other servers to look over. “Where is our salad?”

You bring it to her and hang in the back. Jasper walks over. “You okay? Do you need anything?” You shake your head.

It’s 30 minutes later and she’s called you stupid and other rude names. You just can’t take anymore and ask Jasper to bring out their pizza. He nods. “Do you want me to give her the Karen Special? Your table. Your call.”

You look at him and nod slowly.

He brings their pizza, hands them the check and tell them to hurry up and eat, pay, tip their server and get out because they’re not welcome here anymore.
