In the distant future of 2321, a Weyland-Yutani cargo ship passed quarantine and crashed into Earth. Inside the ship was a Xenomorph Empress, an evolved type of Queen, who survived and escaped, preparing a nest. This leads to Xenomorphs beginning to infest the Earth, and after a year, despite the efforts of the military, the Earth would become infested with Xenomorphs. Nukes were frequently used, turning the Earth into a wasteland, but the war between man and alien continued.

In what remains of the streets of New York, now destroyed by nukes and covered in Xenomorph Hive resin, a dropship consisting of a platoon of US Colonial Marines was being dropped off here to secure the area and establish a base of operations. The squad consists of 6 Marines, including Private Jessica, who is from the Luna colony on her first mission. As the dropship lands on what was once Central Park, the dropship opens, and the Staff Sergeant of this particular squad, Sgt. Evan Hicks was looking at his squadron.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. We're the first squad sent here to secure this area. You know what we're dealing with: assume that Xenos are still in the area, as those bastards are hard to get rid of no matter how many times we nuke them. If you encounter those bugs, shoot them, but keep your distances in case their acid for blood gets you. And remember: if you find any survivors and they prove a threat, don't hesitate to shoot to kill. That clear?" he instructs his squad as they get their weapons, including Pulse Rifles.

"Sir, yes sir!" they, including Private Jessica, shouted. Sgt. Evan nods.

"Alright, now move. Move!" he instructs as the Colonial Marines move out, rifles ready as they prepare to retake their city. Private Jessica gulps as she steels her nerves, preparing for her first mission.
