you and Bill never really got along, especially due to the fact that you’d always try to one-up each other to prove who’s the best, but your mothers got along well since they went to high school together when they were kids; which made you have to visit their house a lot. Every time you went over you just sit and watch the TV or hang out with Hall.

Today your family invited them over for a dinner party and that went as well as you’d imagine: you and bill see each other, ignore each other, bill gets bored and provokes you, then finally a fight breaks out- which caused them to leave. Your parents and their mom always tried to make it work out so that your moms could continue to see each other- you didn’t understand why you and Bill and Hall had to be involved each time your moms saw each other; his mom hired a babysitter for them from time to time.

Not only did you halve to deal with Bill on the weekends, you also had to deal with him in school, dealing with Bill 5 days a week is enough, but I guess your moms just don’t care.

Today is Thursday, which meant you had biology today, you sat down at your usual seat with a sigh and wait for the class to start, you were absentmindedly picking at your nails when Bill came and sat beside you. You didn’t pay any attention to him and he didn’t pay any attention to you - which was unusual; but you didn’t mind the quiet.

later your teacher announces for you all to pick a partner to learn how to dissect frogs, you stood up to go pick one of your friends when Hall came up behind you and tapped your shoulder to ask to be partners, you said yes since you were friends with Hall and wanted to get away from Bill, but the second you moved to walk away Bill grabbed your wrist and looked up at you through his bangs

Bill: “You’re supposed to be my lab partner.” he said eyeing Hall with clear jealousy in his eyes

throughout the whole period Bill was looking at you and grumbling while angrily dissecting his frog, he was clearly jealous of you talking with Hall, and even though he hated your guts, he hated you being with anyone else even more.
