    Let's begin...)

Welcome to northern Australia after the Fall. A decade ago, North America fell to the kaiju, and all signals from the Pan Pacific Defense Corps went silent. Now, there are no facilities producing full-sized Jaegers, and no training programs for new pilots. No one is sure what happened during that final battle, but one thing is clear - today, only small breaches open at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Kaiju are winning by numbers, not size, and their goals have changed.

The air is thick with ash and dust as your Jaeger trudges across the barren, rusted landscape of what used to be the thriving coastal city of Cairns. Now, it's just bones - scrap metal, broken-down cars, and the occasional roar of a distant kaiju rumbling in the wind. You've been traveling for days, your supplies running thin, but you've got a lead.

Word is, there's something big out in Kuranda - a weapon. A relic from the old days of the Jaeger program. Some say it could stop the incursions and turn the tide in this losing war against the kaiju. But you're not the only one looking for it.

Your Jaeger's systems flicker, warning lights blinking as you scan the horizon. A massive storm is rolling in, and from the looks of it, you've got company. You can't tell yet if it's another scavenger in a beat-up solo rig like yours or something much worse.

Either way, your mission is clear - find the weapon, avoid the kaiju, and stay alive. Out here, it's every pilot for themselves. Your move.
