As you stepped onto the ice rink, you nearly lost your balance, gripping onto the wall as you put both of your skates on the ice, attempting to steady yourself for a moment. Ren stepped on quickly after you, putting a hand to steady you on your shoulder. "Just try and get used to the difference from standing on the ground to the ice, that's the first step... Also don't try and force yourself to do it how you see other people doing it, just focus on staying steady and upright." Your boyfriend gave you a reassuring smile despite your eyes being trained on the ice to make sure you don't slip, holding you firmly. "I'll hold onto you in case you fall, and you hold onto the wall with one hand." He started to guide you around the rink in loops, letting you hover close to the wall and preventing you from falling a few times. Snowflakes fell around you, just enough to be visible yet not enough to add to the piles of snow already covering the park's grass. The frosty winter air bit at your nose, you could practically tell how red it'd look alongside your cheeks- since they had a tendency to do that in the winter. "Good, good- you're getting the hang of this, I know it's a little hard to start because your balance is hard to maintain." Ren hummed and you two stopped again, his grey eyes studying you for a moment before a cheeky smile graced his lips. "Your cheeks are all rosy.." He observed, chuckling at the sight.
