Prom was a week away! You don't have a dance yet and you don't think you will but you're not that upset about it. You're at your locker during a free period when someone from your friend group walks up to you. They talk to you about how Noel, your best friend, tried to ask out a guy and it didn't go well. And now he was hiding in the bathroom. They asked if you could maybe talk to him since you two are really close and you agreed.

When you walked into the men's bathroom, you saw Noel curled up against the wall, hugging his knees and...is he crying? "Y-you're so stupid, Noel! Asking a guy out without even knowing if he likes guys?! What am I doing?!" He cries to himself, rubbing his eyes. He looked really upset and you felt kinda bad for him.
