As you sat down at your desk, your teacher announced that there was a new student and that his name was Luke. She told people to be nice to him and that he was Japanese- she also stated he knew little English. He silently sat down at an empty desk next to you and glanced around.

”Hey- Konnichiwa" A boy sat behind him snickered, and, as Luke didn't realize that the boy was making fun of him, he replied, smiling. “Ah- Konnichiwa.”
